How is the score worked out?
The score from 0 to 100 adds up common angling guidance for each hour: pressure up to 30 points, light up to 30, wind up to 15, cloud up to 10, rain up to 10 and moon up to 5.
Why is the score capped at 20?
A thunderstorm, strong wind, heavy rain or an official weather alert in that hour caps the score at 20. The warning says which one.
Does a high score mean I will catch fish?
No. The score describes conditions only. It does not promise that fish will bite.
Why are there no tides for my water?
Tide times come from NOAA and cover US stations only.
The forecast does not load
Check the internet connection and that Location is allowed for Hookhour in Settings, or pick a saved spot.
How do I save a spot?
Open Spots and tap Save current location, or touch and hold the map.
How many spots can I save?
3. Hookhour Pro makes it unlimited.
Restore purchases
Open Settings and tap Restore Purchases.
Export or delete my log
Export: Settings, Export CSV. Delete: swipe a catch to delete it. Deleting the app deletes everything.
